Kim Cunningham is vice president of finance at NANA Regional Corporation, Inc. supporting NANA’s leadership and employees with financial management, accounting and internal control systems, including the financial oversight of its resource portfolio.
Prior to her most recent position, she served as senior director of Finance of Natural Resources for NANA and senior director of Lands and Resources at Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI). Cunningham began her career in public accounting and moved from auditing to corporate tax prior to her focus on natural resources. She has over a decade of experience working with Alaska Native Corporations.
Cunningham is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds undergraduate degrees in both accounting and finance as well as a Master of Science in Information Processing and Communication from Montana State University. She is the chair of the Student Assistance Foundation and its audit committee, is a board member of the Blood Bank of Alaska, and treasurer of the Alaska Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL). She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Council of Petroleum Accountants Society (COPAS), and Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation.
