Unaviqsruaq Johnetta Horner is a director from Kobuk who has served on the NANA board since 2015.

In addition to her NANA board duties, Unaviqsruaq is the administrator for the City of Kobuk. She serves as director and board secretary for Maniilaq Association, president of the Native Village of Kobuk, and secretary and treasurer for the Kobuk search and rescue team.

Unaviqsruaq previously chaired the Kobuk Advisory School Committee. She served as vice mayor of Kobuk and as board chair for the Alaska Village Electric Cooperative.
