Dana Sailaq Tuimalealiifano is NANA’s vice president of human resources. A NANA shareholder from Selawik, Dana is responsible for directing, planning, developing, implementing and managing all HR functions. Her accountabilities include recruiting, onboarding, HR operations (data management, verifications, record keeping), human resource information system (HRIS, where HR and IT intersect), employee relations, performance management, training and total rewards (health and welfare benefits, retirement benefits, and compensation, etc.).
Dana has worked at NANA since 2010 in positions with increasing responsibility, most recently as senior director of HR, a role in which she implemented programs that streamlined systems and processes for more accurate results.
Dana volunteers at the Lighthouse Christian Fellowship and also served as a mentor at the Alaska Military Youth Academy, helping at-risk youth learn life skills.
Dana holds a bachelor’s degree with a focus on human resources and business management and a Master of Business Administration from Hawaii Pacific University. She is an alumna of Mt. Edgecumbe High School.
