NANA CARES Act Funding Information

NANA is pleased to provide the NANA Individual Disaster Relief Program for shareholders who have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 public emergency.

NANA received its CARES Act allocation in the amount of $32.8 million from the U.S. Department of the Treasury. We want to move as efficiently as possible to distribute the funds to shareholders who have been negatively impacted by the pandemic.

The federal government has strict guidelines regarding the use of this funding, including restricting NANA from using the money to pay a shareholder dividend. On Sept. 14, 2021, the NANA Board of Directors approved a CARES Act spending plan, which includes an Individual Disaster Relief Program. Shareholders who are 18 years or older are eligible for a maximum of $2,500 (born on or before Nov. 15, 2003). Those shareholders who are under the age of 18 are eligible to receive a maximum of $1,000.

We are in the process of creating online and paper applications, which will be distributed in late September. Applications will be due on Nov. 15, 2021.
