Grant Vidrine is interim president of NANA’s Commercial Group and previously served as NANA’s vice president of HSSE and operational excellence.
The Commercial Group comprises subsidiaries that support resource development, as well as other industries including healthcare and education, throughout Alaska and in the Lower 48.
Grant has four decades of oil and gas experience and spent 25 years at BP, working at Prudhoe Bay and in Anchorage, Houston and Azerbaijan in a variety of engineering, HSSE, organizational development, financial and leadership roles. He has a broad range of international expertise in operations, management, project leadership and crisis and emergency preparedness.
Grant holds a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from Louisiana Tech University and attended BP’s Executive Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He is a member of the Alaska Safety Advisory Council and served on the board of the Alaska Clean Seas (ACS) oil spill cooperative, which provides spill prevention, preparedness and response services. He also served on the advisory board of the Prince William Sound Science Center, supporting healthy ecosystems and providing stewardship for renewable resources.
